Data protection

When you leave your details in a form on this website, I need them for one thing only: to get back to you and talk about what you need. I don't sell them and I don't use them for anything else.

1. Who processes the data

2. What data I process

Only what you fill in yourself:

  • “Get in touch” form — e-mail (required), name, company, phone, your current website address, a description of your situation and any file you attach.
  • “Call me back” form — phone number (required), name and when it suits you to be called.

Your IP address and the time of submission are stored alongside it, purely as protection against automated spam.

Website chat — your messages. An AI assistant answers first; that conversation is not stored, it stays only in your browser. If you want to talk to me, it hands the conversation over to me with your name and contact (e-mail or phone) and we continue live — I do keep that conversation.

Promo video order (it-solution.cz/en/video) — e-mail (required), company or product name, website address, the materials you upload (documents, photos, logo, Google Drive links), the text you write in the form or in comments, and your video settings. When you pay for the plan you enter your card directly with the Stripe payment gateway; I never see the card number.

3. Why I process it

To answer your enquiry and agree the next step with you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — you are writing to me so that I get in touch. Nothing else: I don't send newsletters or offers to people who haven't asked for them.

I process promo video materials to make the video you ordered (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The content of each order is also checked automatically so that I don't produce videos with illegal or inappropriate content (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long I keep it

For as long as we are discussing the work, and then at most two years so I can look back at what we talked about. If it turns into a project, accounting rules set the retention period. You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time — unless the law requires otherwise, I will.

Promo video: uploaded materials (files, photos, logo) and the text extracted from them are deleted together with the video, seven days after the download link expires. The script, the list of facts and the order record (e-mail, website address, status and costs) are kept while you use the service and then at most two years; payment records as accounting rules require.

5. Who I share it with

Nobody who would use it for their own purposes. Technically it only reaches the services I use to run things:

  • Google (Gmail) — e-mail correspondence goes through it.
  • Contabo — the server in Germany where the website runs and the record is stored.
  • Anthropic (USA) — the Claude language model that answers in the chat; it processes messages only to reply, transferred to the USA under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Slack (USA) — how I reply to you live in the chat; smsbrana.cz — if you leave the chat and gave a phone number, it texts you a link to my reply.
  • For promo videos: Anthropic (USA) — the Claude model that extracts facts from your materials and website, writes the script and checks the content; OpenAI (USA) — turns the script text into speech (only the script text is sent); TypeSafe — checks that the script sentences match the facts; Stripe — payment for the plan. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Videos are produced on Contabo servers in Germany.

Enquiries are stored outside the public part of the website; only I have access to them.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising scripts. A partly filled form is saved in your browser only, so you can pick up where you left off — I cannot see it, and it is cleared when you submit. You can clear it yourself at any time with the button next to the form. For the rest of your visit (sessionStorage, cleared when you close the window) the voice tour remembers which step you are on and that you dismissed the tour offer.

7. Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, or for the data to be transferred elsewhere. You may object to the processing. Just write to jsem@martin-sabata.cz. If you believe I am handling your data badly, you can contact the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.cz).
